When I opened the garage door to show my Amphicar to my sister
She said "Oh, it's a Chevy!"
She saw the fins and thought it was a '57 Chev, hahaha!
Complete rotisserie restoration will begin about 12-1-03
I'll keep this site updated with detailed pictures
as I progress.
If anyone wants pictures of something special
Let me know and I'll get them as soon as I get to that area.
It took most of the week of Dec 1st to build the Rotisserie brackets.
Since there is no frame and bumper brackets
like on Tbirds to mount the rotis to,
I had to get inside the car to mount the brackets.
I mounted to the siderails under the engine,
and the back rail under the radiator,
and in the front of the car,
I attatched to the frame near where the bumper attaches. (see photo's).
I got the car on the rotis today, 12-08-03.
